Westgate Resorts has officially broken ground on the Riverside Country Waterpark, an exciting new attraction at the award-winning Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo, slated to open in summer 2025. This vibrant water park promises to blend adventure and relaxation, capturing the adventurous spirit of River Ranch.
The River Country Waterpark will feature three exhilarating water slides: a 281-foot open-ended slide with a thrilling spin, a colorful tubular slide, and a high-speed free-fall slide that drops from a height of 35 feet. Designed with inspiration from island resorts, the oversized lagoon pool will include sundecks and lounge seating, providing an ideal spot for guests to unwind.
Families will find plenty of fun in the expansive water play area, which boasts fountains, mini slides, dump buckets, water cannons, and stunning waterfalls. Additional kid-friendly attractions include “horseback riding” horses, a mushroom maze, and a towering water feature known as “Buddy Bovine.”
Accommodations at the park will include ranch-themed cabanas inspired by the resort’s signature glampervans and tents, which can host up to six guests and come equipped with a large-screen TV, mini-fridge, and personal safe. Guests can also relax at the rustic “Bar’n” bar, offering cold drinks and snacks in a charming ranch atmosphere.
Westgate Resorts timeshare owners will enjoy complimentary access to the water park during their timeshare week, adding another unique benefit for owners.
