Condor Air is set to elevate its summer 2025 flight offerings by introducing daily flights to eight vibrant European cities, ideal for travelers seeking a quick getaway from Frankfurt. The new destinations include Rome (FCO), Milan (MXP), Prague (PRG), Vienna (VIE), Zurich (ZRH), Berlin (BER), Hamburg (HAM), and Munich (MUC), providing a wealth of opportunities for cultural exploration, sightseeing, shopping, conferences, and unique culinary experiences.
This expansion aligns with Condor’s recent success in enhancing city connectivity on popular long-haul routes, including major destinations like New York and Bangkok. The airline is responding to the growing trend of “business and casual” travel, catering to professionals who wish to blend work obligations with leisure activities. By facilitating easy access to these short-distance connections, Condor aims to offer flexibility for travelers looking to balance business and pleasure in some of Europe’s most sought-after cities.
“With the launch of eight new city routes, Condor Air is broadening its flight schedule to provide passengers with exciting urban destinations for memorable experiences,” said Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor. “Condor is no longer just a traditional holiday airline; we have always tailored our flight schedules to meet the needs of our passengers. Additionally, the rising costs associated with site selection in Germany have led us to relocate five aircraft to Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Milan, and Rome to capitalize on economic growth in these regions.”
In light of increasing site selection costs imposed by the German government, several airlines, including Condor, have announced plans to adjust their capacity. The airline will redirect flights to high-demand markets, focusing on cities like Frankfurt and supporting local tour operators’ initiatives. Starting next summer, Condor plans to deploy one aircraft each to Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Milan, and Rome to meet this growing demand.
With this expanded summer flight program, Condor is reinforcing its commitment to providing diverse, customer-centric travel options, making it an attractive choice for both business and leisure travelers.
