The Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture will hold the “Hainan Night” event on the evening of Oct 30, which is expected to attract about 700 guests from home and abroad. The event aims to promote Hainan’s tourism resources and showcase Hainan’s unique culture through food and performances.
Wuzhishan Li Miao Children’s Choir will present the moving chorus “Long Lost” for everyone. The Hainan Provincial Folk Song and Dance Troupe will also perform traditional dances such as “Bamboo and wood into Incense” firewood dance, “Rice Three Colors” and “Permanent Invitation”, giving guests the opportunity to experience the rich folk customs of Hainan.
In addition to performances, guests will also have the opportunity to sample traditional Hainanese cuisine and tropical fruits in a dedicated food tasting area. The intangible cultural Heritage exhibition area will display traditional cultural treasures such as Li Jin, and arrange intangible cultural heritage performances with Hainan characteristics.
Hainan Tourism Resources Photo Exhibition area will be set up “Policy and tourism product exhibition” and “Hainan high-quality tourism resources Photo Exhibition”, showing Hainan’s opening up policy and tourism resources advantages. The picture areas of Haikou City, Sanya City and other cities and counties will showcase the unique charm and natural scenery of Hainan.
