In the newcomer categories, Angama Amboseli, an exquisite tented lodge situated in Kenya’s Kimana Sanctuary, was awarded ‘Africa’s Leading New Hotel.’ Morocco’s St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, located in the picturesque Tamuda Bay, was recognized as ‘Africa’s Leading New Resort.’
Kenya also celebrated several achievements, with Diani Beach retaining its title as ‘Africa’s Leading Beach Destination,’ which enhances its allure to both international and local visitors. Nairobi was honored as ‘Africa’s Leading Business Travel Destination,’ and the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club was named ‘Africa’s Leading Hotel.’ Additionally, Somerset Westview in Nairobi received recognition as ‘Africa’s Leading Serviced Apartments.’
The coastal city of Durban affirmed its position as a top business hub by being named ‘Africa’s Leading Meetings & Conference Destination.’ Meanwhile, Cape Town’s Port was celebrated as ‘Africa’s Leading Cruise Port,’ reflecting its increasing importance in both maritime and tourism sectors.
