Free Wi-Fi for Gold Members
Fliers who achieve Gold status in the airline’s Free Spirit program will now enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, enabling select passengers to stream television shows or movies in addition to browsing online and checking email. To qualify for Gold membership, travelers must accumulate at least 5,000 Status Qualifying Points (SQPs), with each dollar spent on the airline earning one SQP. Gold members also benefit from a free checked bag, a carry-on bag, advanced seat selection, and various other perks.
Silver Tier Limitations
The loyalty program’s Silver tier requires only 2,000 SQPs but does not include the free Wi-Fi benefit, highlighting the additional advantages available to Gold members.
Double Reward Points Promotion
As part of its commitment to enhancing the loyalty program, Spirit is offering members the chance to earn double reward points on purchases of the ‘Go Big’ or ‘Go Comfy’ options for bookings made by December 31 of this year, with travel completed before December 31, 2025.
