Semi-private air carrier JSX is set to enhance connectivity to Las Vegas with a new seasonal route beginning October 1. This service will operate between Taos, New Mexico, and Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, available through December 8.
Expanding Taos Service
This new route marks JSX’s third flight option to Taos, following the successful relaunch of services from both Dallas and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC) in Denver this summer. Although those routes were initially scheduled to conclude at the end of September, they have been extended through the 2024/2025 winter season.
CEO’s Commitment
“JSX, at its core, is about increasing access to air travel and our return to Taos does just that,” JSX CEO Alex Wilcox stated. “It’s our true pleasure to bring customers to places where large network airlines can’t go, like Taos, where the best of arts and culture become more attainable than ever before.”
Flight Details
The new Las Vegas flights will operate twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, perfect for a weekend getaway. Fares start at just $209 each way for roundtrip tickets. In addition to Taos, JSX also connects Las Vegas with several other major West Coast cities, including Los Angeles, Oakland, Scottsdale, and Denver.
JSX’s Broader Reach
Voted the best U.S. airline by Travel + Leisure readers, JSX offers semi-private flights across various states, including New York and Florida. The airline operates a fleet of 48 Embraer ERJ family aircraft, each seating 30 passengers.
Onboard Amenities
Passengers can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi via SpaceX’s Starlink, two checked bags (including oversized items like skis or golf bags), free cocktails, and more. Additionally, travelers appreciate the convenience of arriving at the terminal just 20 to 45 minutes before their flight.
Conclusion
With this new route to Las Vegas, JSX continues to expand its offerings, providing travelers with accessible and comfortable air travel options. This service is sure to attract both locals and visitors eager to explore the vibrant culture and entertainment of Sin City.
