The Hong Kong Tourism Board has selected Kuala Lumpur-based Pacific World Travel (PWT) to serve as its trade representative in Malaysia, effective July 1.
Pacific World Travel will undertake the role of planning, developing, and executing trade marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at boosting visitor arrivals from Malaysia to Hong Kong.
Tunku Iskandar Tunku Abdullah, Group President of Melewar Group’s tourism-related companies, including PWT, expressed commitment to fostering robust partnerships and launching innovative campaigns. He emphasized, “Our team at PWT is eager to collaborate closely with travel trade and media organizations to enhance Hong Kong’s appeal as a preferred destination for Malaysian travelers.”
With a focus on promoting Hong Kong as a leading international city in Asia and a premier global tourist destination, this appointment marks a strategic move to strengthen tourism ties between Hong Kong and Malaysia.
