International air travel bookings have risen by 56%, while domestic air travel has seen a 31% increase during the Olympic period.
Top Source Markets for Travelers
In Paris, the majority of travelers will come from the United States, Japan, and Canada. Marseille is expected to see a large influx of Americans, while Lille will host numerous Algerian and British visitors. Bordeaux will attract a significant number of British and American travelers. Additionally, Nice and Lyon will experience an increase in American and German visitors, while Nantes will see a substantial presence of German and Canadian tourists.
Hotel Occupancy Rates Soar
Hotel occupancy rates across France have skyrocketed in anticipation of the Olympic Games.
