Delta Airlines has announced the launch of new routes, including destinations such as Aruba, London, Orlando, and Salt Lake City, expanding their global service network.
Floridians looking for a European escape can now enjoy direct flights from Orlando to London’s Heathrow Airport. This seasonal winter service will run from October 26, 2024, to March 29, 2025, operating four times weekly on an Airbus A330-900neo, which features Delta One Suites and Delta Premium Select cabins.
This new route enhances Delta’s Europe-Florida connection, complementing the recently announced direct flights from Tampa and Orlando to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a major hub for KLM Airlines, Delta’s partner in the Sky Team Alliance.
“Our new route between Orlando and London seamlessly connects two diverse destinations, offering customers a wealth of experiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Floridians can explore London’s historic landmarks and world-class dining, while Londoners can escape to Orlando’s sunny beaches and famous attractions,” stated Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India.
Additionally, Delta is expanding its operations from Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP), unveiling its “largest-ever winter Latin schedule” with new flights to Aruba and St. Maarten. The airline will offer direct flights to Aruba on Fridays and Sundays, and to St. Maarten on Thursdays and Saturdays. The updated schedule also includes increased service to Grand Cayman and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Delta will also enhance its service from Salt Lake City, Utah, with a new weekly Saturday-only flight from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Salt Lake City, running from December 21, 2024, to May 3, 2025.
“These new routes will make it even easier for travelers to experience our effortless access to world-class outdoor recreation, vibrant cultural scene, and stunning landscapes. We look forward to welcoming more visitors and showcasing everything our beautiful destination has to offer”.
