AXA Hong Kong and Macau have teamed up with HK Express Airways in an exclusive partnership aimed at simplifying the travel insurance process for the airline’s customers. This collaboration was officially launched at a recent kick-off ceremony.
Streamlined Travel Insurance for HK Express Customers
With this new partnership, HK Express passengers can now purchase travel insurance seamlessly when booking their flights on the airline’s website. The “HK Express Travel Insurance” product, designed by AXA Hong Kong and Macau, offers a range of customized benefits, including:
Medical expenses coverage up to HKD 500,000
Baggage and personal belongings coverage up to HKD 6,000 (doubled for travel to Japan)
Rental car excess coverage up to HKD 3,000 (doubled for Japan)
Free coverage for children traveling with their parents
Complimentary virtual medical consultations and medicine delivery services in selected cities in Japan
Kenneth Lai, Chief General Life Insurance Officer at AXA Hong Kong and Macau, highlighted the advantages of this partnership, emphasizing the goal of providing a seamless travel experience. “AXA has been actively expanding its insurance ecosystem and is committed to being a true partner for our customers. He further noted that as AXA’s first airline partner based in Hong Kong, this collaboration allows HK Express customers to effortlessly book flights and purchase travel insurance through a unified platform. “Looking ahead, we will continue working with HK Express to explore products with comprehensive coverage and bring innovative solutions to the market,” he added.
