Hong Kong International Travel Expo Opens with 500 Exhibitors, Expected to Draw 70,000 Visitors

The annual Hong Kong International Travel Expo (ITE) kicked off on Thursday, attracting over 70,000 visitors to the four-day event held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Co-organized with the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Expo features enticing deals from various travel agencies. China Travel Service (Hong Kong) offers hotel stays in Macao starting at HKD$319 per person, while Wing On Travel provides a HKD$500 discount on hotel prices. KKday promotes buy one get one free offers and coupons worth HKD$380. Additionally, using a Bank of East Asia credit card can yield HKD$120 off on spending over HKD$1000. Shoppers at the booth can earn a Macao Pass worth MOP$50 for every HKD$800 spent by presenting their receipts, and BoC Pay users can enjoy HKD$150 off on spending over HKD$1500. While in Macao, visitors can get MOP$5 off for every MOP$50 spent. Bank of China credit cardholders can also sign up for 20X Amazing Rewards and earn gift points for payments made in Macao. These deals are available at the Experience Macao booth, M101 in Hall 1C.

The Expo boasts over 500 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions, including 21 first-time participants such as the United States and Syria. The event showcases a variety of unique experiences: Kazakhstan promotes its popular hiking and adventure tours, while South Korea attracts visitors with free air ticket offers.

The Expo’s first two days were reserved for trade professionals, with the remaining two days open to the public. The event is expected to generate significant interest and provide numerous opportunities for travelers to discover new destinations and exclusive deals.
