The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has announced a tender for a travel accessories concession at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1.
The successful bidder will be responsible for operating four retail stores in the terminal’s bustling Departures Check-in Hall on level 7. The spaces include two stores of 26 square meters and two stores of 24 square meters.
In a statement about the tender, AAHK emphasized that HKIA is a leading global transport hub, offering extensive air, sea, and land connections, as well as 24-hour facilities. The authority aims to enhance the passenger shopping experience by providing premium products and services.
Tender documents are available for download via AAHK’s electronic tendering system, ePROS.
Bidders must have a valid ‘Retailer/F&B Operator’ account and pay a non-refundable fee of HK$5,000 (approximately US$642) to access the documents.
Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. Hong Kong time on 25 February.
