Play Airlines, the budget-friendly Icelandic carrier, has launched a two-day holiday promotion offering 35% off flights to Reykjavik, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Dublin. The deal is valid for flights booked between Dec. 22-23, 2024, for travel between January and June, and September through October of 2025.
The discounted fares cover taxes, fees, and carrier charges, though baggage and seat selection are not included. As part of the offer, travelers can also enjoy a layover in Iceland at no extra cost, with the option to extend their stay for up to 10 days on either leg of the trip.
Play Airlines, founded by former executives of the now-defunct Wow Air, has been operating flights from Stewart Airport in Newburgh, New York, to Reykjavik since June 2022. From there, passengers can connect to numerous European destinations. This summer, the airline expanded its network with new routes to Cardiff, Marrakech, Madeira, Vilnius, and Split.
For those flying from New York City, Play offers the Stewart Airport Express shuttle, timed to coincide with its flights.
The promotion ends on Dec. 23, 2024. For more details or to book, visit flyplay.com. Restrictions and baggage fees apply.
