Tourism Fiji has unveiled a new and exclusive familiarization (fam) program designed specifically for travel advisors. In collaboration with Fiji Airways and local tourism providers, the initiative is timed to coincide with the launch of Fiji Airways’ new direct flight from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to Nadi, a move that enhances North American access to the island paradise.
The fam program, available to just 50 travel advisors, offers an in-depth look at Fiji’s diverse attractions across its 333 islands. Advisors participating in the program will enjoy a range of exclusive benefits, including discounted flights, accommodations, tours, and more.
Exclusive Travel Deals for Advisors
Advisors can take advantage of a special return economy fare from Dallas Fort Worth to Nadi for just $333, with discounted business-class tickets also available. Participating resorts in Fiji are offering rates starting at approximately $140 per night, including breakfast for two. In addition, discounted rates for local activities and transfers will be provided, giving advisors a comprehensive experience of what Fiji has to offer.
The program officially opened on December 10, 2024, and runs until March 14, 2025, or until the 50-advisor capacity is reached. Advisors are invited to plan their travel between January 1 and March 31, 2025.
A Rich Diversity of Itineraries and Experiences
Tourism Fiji’s fam program offers ten distinct itineraries, each showcasing different facets of Fiji. These range from cultural hubs like Suva and Pacific Harbour to romantic retreats in the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. Other options include luxury resorts and adventure-filled tours. Key participating resorts include:
- Ahura Resorts (Likuliku Lagoon Resort and Malolo Island Resort)
- Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa
- Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva
- InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa
In addition, a variety of activity and tour providers are part of the program, including Cloud9, Sigatoka River Safari, Rosie Holidays, and Tewaka, offering advisors the opportunity to explore Fiji’s natural beauty and vibrant culture.
This exclusive offering aims to give travel advisors firsthand experience of the destination, allowing them to provide more informed and personalized recommendations to their clients. With a limited number of spots available, interested advisors are encouraged to book their place early.
