Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas has launched its new season from Brisbane, setting sail on 22 cruises across the South Pacific, New Zealand, and the Queensland coastline.
The ship’s return marks a significant milestone for the region’s cruise tourism, offering Queensland families a unique holiday experience. Gavin Smith, Vice President and Managing Director of Royal Caribbean International for Australia and New Zealand, emphasized the ship’s growing appeal to local families. “More Queensland families are choosing Quantum of the Seas for their next holiday, offering a perfect blend of exciting destinations and a range of activities that cater to every family member,” Smith said.
The ship’s itineraries, spanning from two to 14 nights, include a variety of activities designed to appeal to all ages. Adventure seekers can try skydiving with RipCord by iFly or surfing on the FlowRider, while those looking for relaxation can enjoy the SeaPlex indoor activity centre. Dining options are equally diverse, ranging from fine dining at Chef’s Table to sushi at Izumi and hearty Italian meals at Jamie’s Italian. Evening entertainment is equally impressive, with live shows in the Royal Theatre, music at the Schooner Bar, and performances in the Two70 lounge.
The upcoming season promises a range of exciting destinations, including:
South Pacific Cruises: Eleven seven- to eight-night itineraries, featuring popular stops such as Mystery Island and Port Vila in Vanuatu, as well as Noumea, New Caledonia.
Queensland Getaways: Five four- to six-night cruises showcasing the natural beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, Airlie Beach, and Cairns, with plenty of opportunities for snorkeling and indulging in fresh seafood.
