Papikondalu tourism has officially reopened after a four-month hiatus, just in time for the Diwali celebrations, attracting eager travelers to its stunning natural landscapes. The much-anticipated revival is set to invigorate the region, as tourists flock to experience the picturesque views Papikondalu has to offer.
The atmosphere at the Gandipochamma boat point was vibrant as visitors gathered for scenic boat rides along the serene Godavari River. On the inaugural day of excursions, 41 excited passengers set sail, filling the air with joy as families and friends united to admire the breathtaking surroundings. This event marked a significant milestone for the rejuvenation of tourism in Papikondalu.
In anticipation of the influx of visitors, the tourism department has prioritized safety by implementing thorough checks and ensuring that all boats are equipped with life jackets. These measures are designed to provide a secure and enjoyable experience as tourism resumes, with officials forecasting a substantial increase in visitor numbers in the coming days.
To accommodate the growing demand, the department has authorized 15 boats to operate within the Papikondalu region, offering daily tours from the Gandipochamma temple to Perantalapalli.
