Numerous Vietnamese companies are currently participating in ITB Asia 2024, Asia’s leading travel trade show taking place in Singapore.

A standout feature of the event is the Việt Nam-HCM City tourism booth, which includes travel companies that are part of a tourism promotion program co-organized by the HCM City Department of Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore.

The booth prominently displays promotional materials highlighting HCM City’s tourist attractions, including bookmarks, postcards, and information about the website www.visithcmc.vn. Visitors to the booth can also enjoy Vietnamese coffee and receive souvenirs such as tote bags and traditional conical hats.

Dũng also expressed optimism that the Việt Nam National Authority of Tourism would continue to support HCM City’s tourism sector and encourage businesses nationwide to participate in future events.

Lê Trương Hiền Hòa, Deputy Director of the HCM City Department of Tourism, underscored the fair’s significance for business connections and staying abreast of global tourism trends. “We view September and October as a crucial period for attracting tourists for the year-end season and for planning initiatives for 2025,” he stated.

Additionally, Trịnh Văn Nam, Director of Crossing Vietnam Tour, indicated that his company aims to seek customers and forge international partnerships, particularly targeting the Asian and European markets.

ITB Asia 2024, along with MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia, will run until October 25 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The event features over 85 tourism organizations and convention bureaus from around the world, with 160 speakers and a hundred sessions focusing on the theme “Innovation for Tomorrow: Enhancing Future Resilience in Travel and Tourism.”
