Emirates Expands Premium Economy Service in the U.S.

Dubai-based airline Emirates is set to enhance its premium economy service across the United States, launching upgraded cabins on six new routes.

Travelers will soon have access to Emirates’ premium economy cabin on flights from Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Seattle, Newark, and Miami. This expansion is made possible by the retrofitting of Boeing 777 aircraft, with the rollout beginning in November.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD): Three times a week to and from Dubai starting November 1, increasing to daily service on November 22.

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS): Three times a week to and from Dubai beginning December 10, increasing to daily service on December 18.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW): Three times a week to and from Dubai starting January 9, 2025, with daily service beginning January 15.

Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA): Premium economy service on flights to and from Dubai starting January 24, 2025.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): Daily service on flights to and from Athens starting February 10, 2025.

Miami International Airport (MIA): Four times a week on flights between Dubai and Bogotá, with a stop in Miami starting February 19, 2025, increasing to daily service on March 1.

Features of Premium Economy

Emirates’ premium economy seats are designed for comfort, featuring 19.5-inch-wide cream leather seating with a pitch of up to 40 inches. Additional amenities include a six-way adjustable headrest, eight-inch recline, adjustable calf rest, and a 13.3-inch HD television, all set in a cabin style reminiscent of Emirates’ business class.
